Social value moves beyond using money as the main indicator of value. It looks at the wider impact of an activity, project or scheme. Social value puts the emphasis on engaging people to understand the impact of decisions on their lives and generating value through positive impacts such as employment, education, community engagement, skills development and improving equality.
We work with partners and stakeholders to measure the social value generated by York Central and on this page you can see the latest results and a selection of case studies showing action and impacts in the local communities.
